- Fri Nov 21, 2008 6:13 am #79708 been workin alot on the car and once i replaced all that needed to be fixed the car ran great but on the test drive it died and now it wont stay running unless i give it gas otherwise it just dies out. any suggestions?

What gear and how high of rpms was your car at when it died while driving?

- Fri Nov 21, 2008 4:59 pm #79731 before i replaced everything like shit. once i finished it ran great for like two days and once i replaced the throttlebody gasket it runs better but when i let the car idle it dies. i replaced ignition wires, spark plugs, distributor, fuel filter, IM gasket, pcv vavle, fuel injectors, and i already cleaned the iacv too. it first died when i was coming to a stop at a stop sign.

i had that prob on my integra and it was the coil

- Sat Nov 22, 2008 12:47 pm #79842 check your idle speed control screw. It might be too far in and not letting in enough air when the throttle is closed to keep the engine running.
