#227678 i have an EG hatch and well i didn't really blow the stock D15b7 i actually blew the head gasket but its been blown before and the head cant be machined again and i got some messed up piston rings im burning oil and smoking like a diesel just blue lol. anyway my mechanic told me i needed a whole new engine and thought it was a great time do do my swap :hehe: but i have a very low budget of like 2000 and want to slam a b16a in it and mess with that any better ideas?

the b18c hatch just needed a driver mod



and price... i dont know. i got a good $1000+ into my tranny alone :lol:

My 99 Spec jdm b20(same as usdm b20z) has less horsepower then both b18c GSR's as well as b16's. However my B20 with a b16 transmission will beat both in a race. Why? I have my power from 2000RPM and dont have to wait for VTEC.

you can get a b20 or b18b from a wrecking yard for less then 500 bucks and pick up a b16 tranny from any Delsol VTEC or a 99-00 Civic Si. If you do so you can be the one surprising b18c hatchs and effortless pulling away from b16's.
