#295444 i was going to get one because it was a pita to put my bike in the trunk or in the backseat  but since its the new trend price is to the roof right now i'll just wait for the price to drop id rather spend on other things for my car

rompe: love that basket bro :thumb: i could see me using that for a million different reasons going camping or long trips in the summer

This the kind of setup I like, even though there's nothing in the basket it's always there just in case. I think the only thing I might do different is use a smaller basket, this one seems a bit big for my taste. :thumb:

I got the stretch kit on mine, if you look...the only way to open sunroof all the way is with the stretch kit. Anyway, gas mileage and power suffer when the rack is on, but I can carry more than a Chevy S-10 when I have this thing on the top of the car! I just use tiedown straps to secure the load. Believe me, I have had lots of funny looks before. Mattresses, 3-seater couches, dining room tables with 6 chairs, and of course bikes! never put dents or anything on the car, but if you are not careful putting the rack on the car, you will scratch the paint.
