anyone help with vin check?

Does anyone have a carfax subscription that could run the vin to this civic hatchback for me? if so pm me please, or post and ill pm you.

I dont want it decoded. I want it checked for wrecks or worse.. stolen.

Accidents won't always show up on a carfax or vin check. If the previous owners didn't report the accident to the insurance and what not and just "repaired" it themselves it will show an accident free car. Just a lil FYI 8)

Hahaha that's almost as entertaining as doing an "I'm Feeling Lucky" search for Chuck Norris.

As for the Carfax, it's worth doing, but like Chance said, suppose the person is a DIYer? Or has a mechanic friend in the family? Accident won't get recorded, Carfax won't know about it, and record will look clean.

Plus, I found out after hunting on Carfax's Web site, only a small percentage of mechanics actually report to Carfax. So they may have actually reported the accident and had it "professionally" fixed, and you still won't see it on the report.
