Funny cel problem

So i just swapped my d16z6 over and im having a strange cel problem.

It had zero problems or codes before the swap, i left the harness connected when i swapped. Meaning there isnt anything disconected or switched, not that i usually make a mistake like that anyway.

I searched and couldnt find anything. Heres the deal
Its repeating what looks like code 3 (MAP sensor?) anytime the car is running. It doesnt do this with the key turned on and the car isnt running, and it doesnt repeat anything else.

Vtec appears to be kicking in. The only symptom is that sometimes it wants to die for a period of about 5 seconds 15 or so seconds after starting the car, only when cold.

Any ideas?

also i checked the cel code jumper and there isnt anything in it. As i suspected since it doesnt flash when the car is off.

it could check the voltage on the map?

it could be wires coming loose?

are you sure its map?

Its giving three short flashes and then a pause. If the jumper was connected then it would indacate code 3 map sensor. But it doesn't flash until the car is running.

figured it out.

Harness that goes from ecu to wheel well is just whack.
There was a short in the jumper. Im assuming there is also a short somewhere for the map too. So ill swap the ecu harness over from the ex and that should take care of it.

I was going to say; generally funky ECU codes are caused by something on the harness. Triple and Quadruple check all your plugs.
