After looking at my EG4 hatch build plates n looking up the vin chassis code with the help of a thread on this site

i found out that Project EG Roll was given birth in Suzuka, Japan with an Oct '91 build date n just wondering the background of other ppls rides, where they are and when and where their rides rolled off the production line.

Hmm this seems interesting, is there a link to where to find out the info.
I have always heard different things about all Sol's being built in Japan and all Coupes being built in the US so would be good to see if that is true.

Cool, where are you getting the info to decode the vin number as would like to do it to a few of the cars I have as I have 2 coupes, 2 sol's and 2 hatches which should give a good spread of info.
Plus also on both my coupes they have a sticker in the engine bay which says Honda of America so be good to see if they were built there and then shipped

Sweet thanks.
Have checked both my coupes and they were both built in the US at the East Liberty plant, it also turns out that the serial numbers are only out by few few so I guess they were built hours or days between each other.
One of my hatches that I've check was built at Suzuka, Japan and will need to check the other one and the Sols when I get up to my unit
