I need a spare key cus the car only came with one. But cannot find an oem key?? Why?
Thecopies here in the UK are just bare metal; would like to have some rubber and preferably 'Honda' if it's not too much to ask!

Any suggestions?

here in the US we are able to take our titles & insurance card to our cars to the dealership and they can make a copy of the Master key to the car.

I have a different keys for my door and ignition, and was told I could get a key made to do both. Is this correct?

No you would have to have matching barrels to the keys used.

The keys arn't sold seperatly here; we have to buy a new ignition lock and barrels; more than the value of the car!

Lose your keys and your car is a writeoff!

Got to Honda parts department at your local dealer and you can order them from there they're rubber ended ones think they're about £12 for maybe a pair last time I checked

Not sure on the years but when I got my 95 ej
it came with a master key and a valet key

is there no way to find a dealership
Or even find a hardware store, locksmith to cut you a new one?

In the UK you can't reorder the master key but can get the Honda blanks and then got to a key cutter to get them made up for you.

Yea, we can get keys cut by mister minit and the likes, but the aesthetics of the key is rubbish!
I will try honda tomorrow.
