just get another D15b7 distributor from any 92-95 civic. its not worth "hacking" up a b series distributor to work when none of the mounting points are the same.

are you trying to put on a 92-95 d16z6 or d15z1 distributor on your d15b7 head? Because that won't fit. Stay away from si, ex and vx models. dx, lx, and I'm pretty sure cx as well will fit.

x2
there will be a part number stamped on one of the distributor ears
you need one that says TD41U, it is the only one that will fit. The TD42U and TD43U will not work on your D15B7.

the 34U is from a 90-91 Accord. F22A1/F22A4/F22A6 motors.
the correct one for both the d15b7 and d15b8 is the 41U
so, no it will not work.

both do technically. The coil supplies the electricity, the ICM tells it when to fire(switching signal).
swap out coils and see if it solves it. If it doesnt then it is more than likely the ICM.
Personally I'd take the dizzy you paid so much for back and get the right one.
