Hi all,

I want to get some ITR ARB's for my EG3 and will be wanting to reinforce the rear for obvious reasons. I know that with a large ARB like the ITR's, an ASR or similar is recommended but I'm a bit low on funds to be honest...

I wandered, instead of forking out for an ASR, would a lower tie bar do basically the same job?? I know the ARB is attached to an ASR so might be clutching at straws just I can get a solid tie bar for cheap :D

Thanks as always! :thumb:

A lower tie bar is better than nothing but does not have the advantage of more spread out mounting points like the ASR brace does. I'd save up for the ASR unless you already have the tie bar.

Check ebay, iv seen a frame brace similar to asr. Same matirial just doesent say asr on it. I think it would be a good cheap alternative. :thumb:
