Blower/Heater Question

I bought a 92 Si with no blower/heater unit. I live in Ohio and its getting to be extremely cold, so I need to get this installed. My friend has a 97 GSR heater/blower and I was wondering if this would be a plug and play install or if it just won't work at all. Thanks!

I've read posts on Honda-tech where I think it worked on a 96 civic, and I'm pretty sure that a 96 civic's heater will work on a 92-95 but I'm not 100% sure.

could always try
but why not just get one from the 92-95 from like the junker or try get a new one from the dealer or Autozone or orileys?

I have the entire working assembly I removed from my 92 dx hatch. make me an offer. it's a bitch to remove, gotta pull the dash
