- Tue Dec 27, 2011 5:51 pm #287223 So I bought a new ignition from O'Reillys and it doesn't look like the old one. You can see where the ends are different. I am having trouble getting it in to the hole where it goes. Any thoughts?

P.s. It goes almost all the way into the hole, but it doesn't click in, and once you it in, the key no longer can turn, I had to drill the old lock out, but I don't think I damaged anything.

New on the right, old on the left.

- Wed Dec 28, 2011 11:03 pm #287413 I had to do this in my hatch. There is a little pin you have to haven pushed in the when you try n put the new tumbler in the housing has to be turned just right. I think it was the acc. Position. Hope that helps
