ok guys im in need of some help asap i have right now a honda hsatch back 99 and my key and sterring wheel are both locked and will not turn for anything i tryed to wiggle really hard and charged battery and everything else what do yall think it might be

Are you sure it is the ignition key and not the valet key?

Keep trying to turn the steering wheel while trying to turn the key.

So the key is stuck in the ignition and won't turn or pull out?
Or it won't go into the ignition?

no i can pl the key in and out , the thing is when i put the key in i cant even turn the radio on and my sterring wheel in locked and wount move at all its locked up

Are the contacts/teeth on the key rounded down a lot?

Have you tried to un-jam the wheel with the key in the ignition. Sometimes I have to turn my wheel to the left a little before my key will turn.

Did your car come with the second set of keys? Try the other ignition key

turn the wheel to the left and jiggle the heck out of the key thats what i have to do

ok guys i figured it out if anyones car does this follow these two steps there very important ok unplug your ground battery then let it set for ten seconds then plug the wire back up then your ok to trun the wheel its a anti safty lock system in the sterring comlumn
