#300425 So I've notice that the ac in my car its really cold, but there is not enough air flow coming out the vents. The blower fan works, it increases the speed when I change and you can hear the blower working.
I already checked the connections from he blower to the vents and they seem fine. I am lost, what should I look for now? Help please!!!

#300430 It's closed. Everything mechanical it's checked. I wonder if there any electrical component that needs to be checked or replaced.
Has anyone had this issue before?

#300484 Ive had this issue and there were a couple of things, since we don't have filters in our EG leaves and crap get stuck in places and block airflow. The first I did was pull the blower motor and remove the leaves in there. Then if you crack open the evaporator case then stick a vacuum in and blow some compressed air in there to get all the crap outta there. My car was parked for 2 Years in a backyard before I bought it so you can imagine the amount of crap back there. Blowed way better after that. I couldn't clean it as well without actually removing the evap but i diddnt wanna go through the trouble.

#300528 Does the blower change speed as you move the lever?

#300530 the resistor could still be going out on the blower motor is why I asked it will sound like it changes speeds but is it really pushing more air out. Also turn the re-circulation on and see if you get more air flow. Also charge the a/c system if you haven't yet might be low on freon might help.

#300540 It sounds like its changing speed but it does not increase the air flow. One thing that I have notice is the fact that the blower it's loud, I don't remember my 94 being this loud. I will recharge the system and see if that helps. Thanks for the info. I will also check the resistor but I have to look in the manual on how to perform the test.

#300541 Yeah its pretty easy, you just need to take the glove box down and its right there by the cabin filter and just but an ohm meter to it while you change the speeds to see if it changes the ohm Most of the time it goes out you loose one of the 4 speed settings. good to check though.

And you said the blower motor was good yes?

#300542 I doubt re- charging the system would increase the amount of airflow to the vent. If there is a leak, that needs to be addressed first bc it will allow dirt and moisture into the system. Causing havoc to all other working components.

True my teg did the same thing blows hard when the heat is on but not when I kick the a/c on. charged the system and it blows much cooler and actually get more air out now.

I hate a/c I usually pull it out of all my cars because it sucks and I hate to work on it.

#300547 My car was in storage before I bought it and God knows for how long, thats why now that I have it as a daily driver everything is taking a shit. Its frustrating at points but I like it the car. My 94 got stolen right before I deployed to Iraq back in 2003.
Now I'm trying to bring this one back to its glory days. My must do is a paint job due to the clear being sun damaged, but every time a have some cash something else fucks up. :x
