Got everything in my car wired up and all the grounds put down and battery is strong but when I try to start the car it just clicks. Im hoping its not the starter but thats what I'm thinking it is, because we bypassed the ignition switch and tried to start it directly through the starter and nothing.
Any help?

with a fully charge good battery and new starter it should start. the other cause of not enough voltage/power is the alternator, but if you know the battery is good that would give it enough voltage/power to start.
the clicking noise is the starter turn gear popping out to the fly wheel gears. it pops out and then suppose to turn the flywheel to turn the engine over. a bad solenoid on the starter is usually the cause.
**note that new parts can be faulty too. i've bought alternators, starters, and clutch master cylinders that were bad out of the box.
1) check the battery if you aren't 100% sure its good. if its been sitting awhile or if it was recently drain and recharged. swap one out from another car. make sure the test battery from the other car has the terminals on the same sides.
2) if you bought your starter new you should have warranty or 30 day return policy. bring it back and get another one. just in case. if you bought a used one or one from the junk, it could've been bad on the previous car. take it into a autoparts shop and they should be able to test it for you for free.
3) double check your wiring. make sure everything is plugged up and plugged up correctly. check inside the plugs to make sure none of the pins are damaged. make sure the alternator is plugged up correctly as well.
4) roll the car a little. if the starter gears pop out and don't match the teeth on the flywheel the engine won't turn. put the car in drive or reverse depending on what slight slope you are in and let a roll 2-3 inches.

x2 ( re-check ) i had same prob. after i replaced starter, altenator and battery all brand new. still had problem. all my grounds hooked up so i basicaly re-checked grounds inc battery one took all grounds of car wire brushed them clean and sanded paint of the bay where grounds contact and car fired up first time and never had problem since. i had many bad weeks with that prob

. make sure all properly tight as well and tight to battery terminal. and check if ground wires are damaged
good luck i feel ur pain

check your negative battery cable too..
corrosion will also cause this.

Check the grounds on the trans to frame and engine to frame!

It's almost always a weak connection at the battery terminals.
You shouldn't replace a starter without testing it. I pull it out of the car, stand on it, then use the jumper cables and a little wire to the solenoid.
The battery can be tested with a voltmeter. I usually just check the voltage though as a load test is a little more involved.
