- Fri Apr 11, 2008 1:08 am #49999 any body know if i can put a gauge like vacum or temp in the spot were the mirror switches go ?? i have seen people do it do i have to mod it or does it just stick in and what size ?? thanks guys/gals i think

- Fri Apr 25, 2008 10:48 am #52556 i did exactly that in my 93. i find the pillar gauges out-of-place so i put my oil temp and oil psi gauges beside each other in the place where the foglight switch was, (on top of the mirror switch) and relocated the fog switch beside the mirrors. also put a volt gauge where my rear defogger switch used to be. (mine didn't have a defogger so i didn't care.

that panel behind those places are hollow. just be careful where you drill holes because some wire or brace might get caught. otherwise, its a straightforward installation.
