I need to do a leak down test can anybody walk me through this?

all you do is start at cylinder one at top dead center, remove the spark plug and install the leak down gauge. Compress air and record the numbers. You will hear if there is a leak in exhaust or intake side. Than just repeat for the rest of the cylinders.
