h22a4 or b16
Posted: Fri Feb 27, 2009 5:30 amI have a h22a4 and I've been thinking you always hear of someone making an ls vtec with a b16 head why cant I use my h22a4 head. would it fit on a B block? Has anyone ever seen this done before? 
The H22 head wont fit on a B block just like the D16vtec head wont fit onto a B Block. The Demensions are different. It just wont work.
H22's have much more torque and should be quicker with the H22 Tranny then a Stock B16/Lsvtec.
Swapping from H22 to B series would be a huge pain, you have to put all the stock b Series shifter stuff back in, and change your clutch line. Not worth it imo. Especially since its a Downgrade from what you have right now.
