Need advice on new exhaust
Posted: Fri May 08, 2009 5:02 amSo a year or so ago my stock exhaust rotted out of my 95ex and I replaced it with a cheap 2.5in stainless catback off of ebay and a universal cat. The problem is the exhaust is loud as hell and the cat is to short. I realy want to quiet the system down and get a proper length cat.
I don't really need new pipe, just a new muffler. I have somewhere around 9 inches between the inside of the bumper and where I think i can connect to the existing pipe.
Any suggestions on a muffler and cat? I'm looking for something quiet and that fits. I'm no wannabe racer, I just wanna get to and from work more comfortably. If I end up needing a whole new system so be it, but really don't want to spend more than $500.
