i was wondering if anyone knew what would be the best tranny to use with the sohc zc vtec motor? and if so what is the code for the tranny and do you know where i can get one?

AFAIK all the SOHC VTEC transmissions have the same or very very similar gear ratios. I know the OBD2 are slightly different than the OBD1, but not enough to concern yourself with.

Just get any SOHC VTEC trans. Doesn't matter if it's a JDM D15B, or a ZC VTEC, or a USDM D16Z6 or D16Y8.
