Replacing clutch and flywheel

I recently had a leak and soon enough my clutch is basicly out... can anyone tell me all of the gaskets or seals i can replace while the tranny is out?

rear main seal for sure :thumb:

Everything else you can get to with the tranny still in the car.

Did you find the source of the leak?

should be rear main seal but is there any certain type of tool required to pull that seal out.. i also think its been leaking tranny fluid

they make different seal puller tools, kind of like mini crow bars with a hook. I'm not sure which one you need, but it should only be like $10

You may need a main shaft seal on the tranny too, which requires taking the transmission apart. I'd definitely get the honda manual if you are going to attempt that. .pdf versions are online. :thumb:

do you know if a 96-00 Civic EX tranny would bolt right on? im thinking about doing that to skip all the headaches...
