what is the best transmission for the d15b vtec and where would be the best place to get one. i think mine has the trans out of a dx. i can't find the code to tell me. i'm pretty sure the best would be the si. i just want to know for sure and if it swaps right out without having to change anything.

I have a DX on mine and I love it. Some people say the best one to have is an EX others say Si and some people say DX. there is no universal answer

EX and Si are the same. You want any trans from a VTEC engine. Even 96-00.

yeah thats what i figured. i'm going to get me one from an si. i have a friend who has plenty of parts to choose from.
