Which transmission?

I'm building an itr motor to 550whp. My question is which transmissions would work best with this build? Obviously the itr would work fine, but with the price difference between it and some of the B16 tranny's, it's well worth looking into. Any ideas?

not sure how long either will last with 550 at the wheels.. I've read the ITR LSD's aren't too fond of high HP drag strip launches...

Well, I won't be doing too many drag jumps so it should be fine. Any that I do will be just to get numbers. I'm headed to europe shortly after the build is finished so i'm looking for mid-to-high range engagements from a roll. I'm building for the jump-off to have a solid foundation, but its gonna generally be a smooth transition to speed from a roll.
Any ideas on which transmission to use? 16, gsr? If I have to go itr i will, but i'd like to see what other serious options i have.
