so any way my frineds auto dc teg is having a issue ...
we put another ls in his car and when we put the old tranny on also the old tq converter all went togeather fine.. but when i started the car there is a very extremly loud humming in the trans at idle ?? any ideas does any1 no the proper tq specs for them ? maybe a step by step if so lmk any imput would be alsome

did you take the converter off the tranny and drain everything in the tranny? if so im pretty sure u have to put a specific amount of tranny fluid in the converter before you install it.

other than that i really have no idea.

check out a haynes/chiltons manual for the proper procedures

^^^ this. There is a very specific way to install a tq converter or damage can be done. I'd take a closer look before running the engine any more.
