No. D16z6 has come on ex which tranny brings closer and shorter gear ratios.
D15 tranny has very rediculous long gears and they aren't that close which drop rpm range a lot in between gears.
Ex or si is always best choice.

I know a regular d15 trans is not the same , but the JDM d15b trans is the same as the Si/EX. I just went out to the garage to look. my D16Z6 trans and the one that came on my JDM d15b are the same (S20). The op asked about the d15b

My bad bro you are totally correct. D15b tranny do have the same ratios and its rare but sum even come lsd jdm version of coarse.
