Tranny Leaking?

so my friend buttoned up all the stuff on my new motor put the axles in put tranny fluid in and what not and he said after running it for a second there was a quart of tranny fluid on the ground and it was leaking from the driver side axle. He said it it looked like it sealed in tight and there was no problem before with this axle, so I'm stumped
Ideas?

ok so I'm starting to think its the Transmission housing seal

how hard is it to replace this? any info on doing it?

axle seals can be a bitch. they can tear easily when putting the axle in or sometimes just not seal properly to begin with. Make sure it is not pushed too far in the tranny housing too.

yeah, going to try and replace it tomorrow so we'll see how that goes, just want this damn swap done
