REPLACEMENT INTERIOR DASH SWITCH

- Sun Oct 16, 2011 11:37 am #277946 Yeah, me too. 79 CJ7 and 92 EG8. I'm not looking for a replacement at this point. I'm wanting to find out what goes bad in the switch since theres no aftermarket part yet. I spent 3 bucks getting a new capacitor soldered on. My headlights started working again yesterday morning. I noticed that sometimes playing with the dimmer knob will make them work, so i'm looking for the maker of that knob. I know it wasn't made just for Honda. I also noticed that when my lights don't work, I hear a somewhat rythmic clicking from inside my dash. any idea's on the clicking?

- Sun Oct 16, 2011 6:38 pm #277969 still not sure bout the dimmer switch issue but headlight issues may be a problem with your DRL relay under the dash on the drivers side kick panel, when i was having issues with my lights i grabbed a relay from the wrecker and it fixed the issue...however if you dont have DRL then :?
