Hi mates. I wanna know this please, will the DC2 JDM steering wheel fit into the EG hatch with no modification?? Just plug n play? And how to put the horn button in the wheel functional? Because I'm waiting one of this from Japan, genuine JDM item :thumb: That steering wheel:

your horn will require a metal strip to contact the positive brass on the back of the wheel and then wired to the horn wire on the SRS loom. :thumb:

Depends on what model Civic you have - i put a dc2 airbag steering wheel into a non-airbag eg, i used the wee srs connector plug thing that sits behind the wheel from the dc2 aswell and it all works perfectly

If you're putting a non-airbag dc2 wheel into a non-airbag eg it will go straight on without any modification

If its a non-airbag wheel into an eg with airbags you'll need the wee metal strip as Derek said

My ride is an EG4 '92 and it don't have airbag. So it's just plug n play! :thumb:

If you take your steering wheel off you'll have a black SRS thing thats held in place with 3 screws - you dont need that bit anymore so take it off and in place of that you need the wee metal piece. The plug on the indicator stalks for the horn is at the bottom, its just a spade connector. The wee metal piece joins that to the contact ring on your non-srs steering wheel. You can get the bit from either a junkyard out a car that has no airbags or Honda sell it too, its not expensive at all!!
