I dont know of any DIY on putting them in, or anyone making carpet on there own to put in.

I'm planning on cleaning it real good and then using that vinyl and fabric spray paint/dye to get it to all black (I have a black EG, so I'm slowly getting rid of the grayness throughout).

Just a suggestion, unless yours is really damaged and irreparable. If you are looking to buy, I saw some on RockAuto today when I was ordering my radiator fan. They've got a couple colors from $99-$199

Most definitely! Buddy of mine with an '83 Supra noticed the carpeting was turning from black to green with age. He picked up a can of that stuff and, boom, good as new! Depending on how durable to coloring really is, I also may do the seats; I'm going for full black interior (already got the plastic interior trim pieces along the top all black, looks slick!)

- Sun Oct 05, 2008 5:43 am #72748 I painted my carpet also. Just take it out give it a good power washing, leave it outside to dry, then buy some duplicolor vinial/fabric paint. You will probally need 2 cans maybe 3 just to be safe.

- Fri Oct 10, 2008 10:59 pm #73683 i replaced the carpet in my ef hatch for $125. got a molded carpet for that model through ACS "auto carpet supply" installed it myself, looks better than stock bcuz i refoamed the floor b4 lying the carpet. it comes in like 20 different colors, atleast 3 different quality levels, instructions on where to cut for e-brake and shifter, so on(not like u need it). all you need to do is buy some adhesive spray 2 cans, and go to work. you could put it in if u were blind. definetly worth the $, sorry i dont have pix
