Sorry for the horrible title...but wtf is that aftermarket dash centerpiece called and where the heck do I get one?

It's the piece that goes...over??..your cup holders and gives a lot more space for the center console. Not to mention it looks a lot nicer. I've seen it in quite a few civics here and I love it.

Its pretty much a jdm center peice but some call it a audio console since it holds your stereo receiver.

You can get one via ebay or an aftermarket one...or you could go to password jdm they might have one.

Yup thats EXACTLY what I'm lookin for..but OMG...150 BUCKS!?!

I figured it would be a 30 dollar piece...it is just a piece a plastic.

There are actually quite a few brackets and support pieces that go behind it.

You remove your cup holders and secure the first mounting bracket to the holes used to secure the holders.

I'm still having some issues getting mine to fit perfect, but it's worth the money.

Yeah to be honest...I would willingly pay 200 bucks (shipping and tax) for the convenience that the piece offers. I will own one some day.

I kept an eye out for a few months on ebay waiting for a deal and got mine for $130 shipped. In the original Honda box with correct part number and no missing pieces. Just do the same.

Wait..honda MAKES it? I thought it was a 3rd party piece that made it for hondas...why dont they ever put them IN the civics?

'Coz I think it's only made for the Japanese Civics. Dunno too why it didn't come with those here. I want one too, but I'm having 2nd thoughts about it. LOL!

I would HARDLY call myself a "jdm fella". I just whatever I think looks cool to my civic. And I love the look of that piece.

You do get them in Civics, we got them in vti's and coupes, it was an optional part hence they can be hard to find

Seriously though...you could have a sick ride. But you get somethin to drink and climb inside with no cup holders and your like "WTF!? where the hell do I put my drink!?"

You do realize you can walk into your local honda dealerships parts department and order one up for yourself right? Its and USDM option for all civics from 92-95. Its not JDM or what ever. In fact if you were to get a REAL japanese one it would not fit in your car. The JDM one is made for RHD cars and the US one is for LHD cars. They come in grey and black.

If you want the part numbers before hand just peep this pic I took of my console and arm rest boxes when I got them.






All together I think that was about 200 bucks from my job. Took 2 days to get it all too.

So this doesn't come in tan?
