im trying to put on some ebrake handle on my dx but the outer housing is hard plastic-ish and made it hard to cut off with even a razor blade....any ideas on how to remove/cut this part out?....

something with a serrated blade or edge... an actual razor blade wont cut through....

what i did was i took a flathead screwdriver and a propain toruch and heated the screwdriver up and melted the plastic then took the screw driver and used it as a chissel and hit it with a hammer and worked it off.... kind of a caveman way of doing it but it worked :thumb:
