- Tue Aug 10, 2010 1:21 am #208248 Started back stripping the beat up hood. To those that dont know, this is just a temporary thing. The hood was beat up and in bad shape when I got it, I am just stripping it and letting it rust to add to the appearance of the car. Everything will be replaced when possible.

Once the hood is stripped completely I will post up some pics of it. I will also be tearing into the head/motor again soon to. Need to get this thang running.

Still need to wash the car.

- Sat Sep 11, 2010 7:08 am #213109 As soon as the hood get to where I like it. I will stencile on "Hoodride" just above the Passerger headlight, on the hood. Might just do it with the way the hood is now and let it rust more and more as time goes by.

id say make a nice batch of thick salt water and brush it on the hood with a paint brush here and there sit back and watch.....

Maybe you should read more. Ive stated it before in this thread.


I found out a solution to use. Just have to get it together.
