#87339 haha yeah 102 was the tops i managed to push my cooper. and i know what you mean about the head gaskets,i could have bought a new engine with the money i would have saved not replacing them. lol. :x

Finish the Gearbox / Clutch swap. if thats all clear then -

*Ive got red bucket seats (eventually will be covered with grey leather.

*Duckbill Spoiler
*Rota GT3's
*HYPER-FLEX SYSTEM Complete Master Bushing Set
*Coilovers
*Greddy Turbo Kit

any suggestions?

#87356 Well for once the nice ladies and gentleman at Parcel Force delivered a package on time.

My new Clutch Kit Arrived today. :thumb:
So i can finally get the old gearbox off of the engine, Replace the Clutch and Put the New Recon Box back on.

Started working on it all today, Got the old Gearbox off of the engine.
BUT then it started snowing. TYPICAL hasn't snowed here in about 5 years, but when i want to get something done. LOL

#97926 Things have been slow on the civic for the last few weeks, and this is why.... we never get snow here, not in the last 7 years, but this winter, it just had to happen.

its all back on and clear now though, the engine is back in with new gearbox, all topped up with fluids, everything bled. just waiting on the battery to charge to try the first start up, Fingers crossed it works, :?

painted the valve cover so it looks a bit nicer

#98873 Alright guys, Washed the EG this morning, thought that now the majority of the major work is done, i would take some more picture for you and let you know how its all going. Car is booked in for the UK MOT a week on friday, so hopefully it wont cost to much to get it road legal again :thumb:

Changed over the ricer lexus lights that were on the car when i bought it.

ALSO... the guy that had this before me had his exhaust moved up into the bumper, hense the section missing to the right of the exhaust, need all your advice, do i get my exhaust cut so it fits up in that whole, or buy a new bumper???

I know it definitely needs lowering, so when i next have money ill be investing in some coilovers i think, any brands to look out for??

and what else do you think i should do?

#98910 coilovers are always dear just try get the best make possible but the thing is some people praise some coilovers some people say their pish so just look out, ive heard good things about D2's tho.

Good work so far tho it does look pretty clean man gl getting the goodies for it :thumb:
