It's possible that when your welding some sparks fly and will burn into the wheels/tyres.

I'm not saying it will but there's always a chance. I always say better safe than sorry.

#88901 I thought about it. And then quit thinking about it. If for any reason something does happen, I will just buy new ones. A Drag DR16 is only 52 bucks. An easy fix... Thanks for all the comments tho.. I appreciate all of them.

#90480 Update finally. I know it's going kinda slow, but it takes alot of work to get it perfect.

Ok, So we got a crazy amount of work done today. Dash is completely out. Along with heator box and ac box. Firewall is completely stripped and has been filled in some. Brake lines are coming out soon. Booster is out, clutch master is out, and bay has been stripped some ready for some filler. Pics will be up as soon as Mr. Clean sends them to me or post em himself.

#90681 well im sure if ya look how the dash mounts you can remove it. and yes you have to remove the dash to replace that part. or glue the new one on.

#90878 Yeah, unfortunately you have to take the dash out. Their will be some screws on the back side to remove it, Phillips head screw driver will do the trick.
