hahaah right on man, i hate short throws as well.. i got a question for you, might know or not.. but what do you do if your going to let an engine sit for about a month or so? (it's my turbo'ed z6 engine)

do you wanna drain the fuel system, do anything with the oil, etc..?

oh and i bet your stoked for next season eh? :)

What fuel were you using? Don't leave e85 in your tank, or injectors. Other then that, just leave the engine sealed up and it'll be okay. Oh you have NO idea!! :) haha

#222325 e85 waters down quick if it's left sitting. And it can ruin injectors. My brothers car sat for 3 months and his injectors were EFFF'd.

c16 we've actually left in a car for a year, and it fired up first try and ran great haha

#222517 e85 is good stuff. I love it. Burns clean, smells good, makes better power then pump gas. lol. it's just not very accessable where i live. there are two gas pumps in the whole state with it :(

#222670 that's my problem man, i don't want to be limited to e85 only.... for example, i drove on like a 400 mile road trip and had to stop at this shady gas station and get premium, as i was climbing like 5500 feet.. it was kinda nerve racking cause i had never taken a car with a boost guage that high in elevation before and i had 5in less vacuum, thought i fried the rings boosting for 10 minutes straight :D

anyway, i went into mine planning on using pump gas just for the availability, wish i was in another state too cause i could get 93 or 94? (we have 92 here)

#222671 Yeah i hear ya lol. whats your elevation where you live? I'm at like 4700ft. :\ sucks. 92! haha best you can get here is 91 :( pump at least.

lol.. maybe it's 91? i can't remember, i think that it should all be the same, and higher :D

but i live in Portland, OR.. elevation of between 45-350 feet, so damn near sea level. it's great...no snow though which is nice, usually ice so it usually cripples my civic in the winter :thumb:
