#341237 Swapped out the middle tail lights with the dark tinted ones to match the outside ones.

The car was rear-ended at one point, so the frame is bent inward. I had to use spacers and longer bolts on the hinges to get the tailgate lined up with the body. The bumper is a different story, but at least it's fully functional now, including the release lever in the front.

Wouldn't mind finding a rear wiper assembly though.

Also the LED third brake light on the spoon replica spoiler was blacked out and the wires were cut, so I respliced those back together so now ALL my lights work finally.

However I had to pull the stereo out, because it was a wiring fustercluck that involved lots of horrible looking crimp connectors and vinyl tape since the factory plug was cut and removed entirely and only half the speakers were wired... I have my work cut out for me with this car. BUT i'm enjoying it ^.^

#341246 i know that pain. had to wire in my radio harness to the stock harness cuz somebody cut it. i have large hands and it was like 90 in my garage. beer wouldn't even stay cold :x

All the hard work in the end pays off when you can say i did it my self

RIGHT! same thing with mine. But I have amp for front speakers so I had to run new wires anyway and the constant power dont work. Have no idea why. Checked everything. had to run directly to the batterie. :x

#341546 U ever think about putting a disconnect on the hot wire running straight to battery? simple flip switch can do the trick

#341571 I've been pondering stuff to do with the Hatch, and I've decided the path to take. It's gonna be a military inspired low-maintenance toy. Flat O.D. green rattle can paint, cargo rack, fogs, etc.

Worked on come concept art. It's not perfect, but I figured I'd share it.

Here's the base hatch.

Then I added the roof rack, cargo hold, Baha off-road fogs (which I have laying around) and a bolted in ammo can for fun.

Then color. I was limited on color pencils, so imagine the green as ultra-flat O.D. green.

#341642 Dude that's a pretty good drawing...I can't believe all of the progress you've made with that wiring mess, that takes so much patience man I don't even want to think about it lol. Sounds like the last owner(s) just didn't really care about doing things right :?

Dude, this hatch was abused. Frame is straight, but the rear bumper/tailgate support is dented inward, the right rear quarter panel has more bondo than metal, hood support structure is compromised, control arms seem to be from different cars... for example the LR LCA has a mount for a sway bar, while the RR LCA doesn't...

So when I swap the Integra and BWR LCA's into the sedan, I'll put the sedan's factory parts onto the hatch, and I'll have a camber kit on order to replace all the upper control arms and stance it enough to keep it from rubbing the fenders.

Quite a bit of work still needs to be done, but at least it has a full interior minus the stereo... which I might leave out or relocate anyway and put something creative in it's place.

#341880 That's insane man, some people would have quit already and sold that thing haha...but you are giving it the new life it deserves! Good idea switching the sedan lca's over and good work lining the rear hatch up!

Thanks! Yeah I see the potential in it. Just because something's had a hard life, doesn't mean it's bound for scrap.

#342073 More wiring nightmares. Decided to start messing with the HVAC controls to see what the issue was with it, and discovered that the dash was out at least once in it's lifetime, and the interior harness was worse off than I thought.

Pulled the unit out, and started tracing wires.

And here's what I found attached to the back of the HVAC:

Lovely burn marks and a wire that's been 'repaired' but wasn't reattached.

Also, I've got some plugs I could use some help identifying that weren't hooked up to anything. I think one's the clock, but what is the other one? Audio?

Then I went to see if the passenger side airbag was disconnected too, and discovered it was removed all together and JUST the cover plate was put back.

So i'm leaving it like this until I make a junkyard run.

Tucked the ECU under the carpet and bolted it to the standoff.

Also, question... Those with a hatchback or coupe, does your petal sit like this? It's COMPLETELY different than my sedan:

It's very uncomfortable, because my foot has to stay angled upward on it, the sedan's petal sits lower and more natural to my foot.

And here's the Integra cluster installed. I'm gonna change it out for a factory cluster, since I think it looks out of place and the odometer doesn't work at all.
