#298721 Went and got MOAR STAINLESS!!!
Made a new intake duct. the new 70mm throttle body is too big for the aem piping,

this is the difference in size, new pipe is 4 inch, and a 4 inch filter

this is one of them all pie cut up and one that i welded up

this is the end result, i have 10 feet of this pipe so im makin some more for buddys. i got 10 ft of 304l stainless for 32 bucks cant pass that up.

#298782 yea i agree that looks sick bro. did you notice any power gains/losses? Ive always read that 2.5/3 in was best for n/a setups. but i suppose if the car is tuned for the changes then it doesnt matter lol. good shit man.

#298876 its a little heavy but i believe it will be worth the power gain, i will get a spec for you

the reasoning is with the stock TB i was generating 1.6" of vacuum at WOT from 5000 RPM up to red line , according to the dataloging. I upgraded to a 70mm and the duct wouldnt fit on

i found a article talking about intake duct radius for the throttle body, and the size of the duct should be 25% larger than the throttle body alone,

thats how i came up with this size intake

i found a stainless cone on ebay but the perfect duct wouldnt have fit on the car, so i opted for the silicone reducer in the perfect size

i will have dyno numbers soon,
