- Wed Jan 18, 2012 5:40 am #290731 i was like 2 clicks away from making a huge mistake and ordering a jdm d15b vtec-EEEEEEEEEEE from TigerJap. but luckily i found this cheap-o. kid says it has around 110,000 on it. he got it at 80,000 from a close friend.


but shit, for $200 i can frankenstein my b7 and the jdm b together if it doesn't run well.

but if it's running, i'm gonna cry......... with joy! haha

anyway, i have a couple questions for you guys:

1. with the swap, comes a my old motor.. d15b7 - burning oil pretty bad. any thoughts on doing a complete rebuild for experience on my first motor "build" or should i dive right in and make an attempt at a mini-me/built/non-v d15b7 to swap in later?

2. thinking of redoing my headliner. what's your recommended fabric type? and i am thinking camo is in order.

3. it will OFFICIALLY be time to slam the shit out the hatch. Function & Form Type 1's or Koni/GC? i simply want LOW for now.. nothing more, nothing less. ....until i get a house with a garage and a DD so i can park the hatch for extensive upgrades.
