- Sun Nov 09, 2008 9:28 pm #77966 Here is my new problem. I got the old steering lock off so that I could put the new one on. But I need to swap over the tumbler so I can keep my old key and not have two like the older GM cars. I just one one key for my car.

Here is my problem. The new one has a tamper proof torx bolt I can get off to take out the tumbler.


The old one doesnt....




I dont know how to get my old tumbler out so that I can use it again.
