ya thats fine i drive on dirt roads every day to work . i wish i could make a couple runs down the track i can cause my clutch is no good at all now i slipped it once

- Mon Sep 21, 2009 1:24 am #145300 i bought a new motor to day its a dohc zc 1.6 going to swap it and run it for next year ! it has less then 100 thousand on it so it should be a pretty good little motor.

- Fri Oct 09, 2009 9:04 pm #149890 so i did some work to the motor over the past couple of weeks .I put a new rear main seal in,tucked my injector wires , cleaned the block, clean the shop that has been wrecked all summer and painted my valve cover. let me know what u guys think

- Sat Oct 31, 2009 7:19 pm #154014 well winter is almost here so i put my hatch away early, and started to tear it down to repair some "Honda Rust". I am also droping my zc in over the winter with a mild wire tuck and shave of the bay. Its going to be a slow process as there is no heat in the garage i am working in.


pulled the old z6 out the other night.

also started cleaning the bay up its going to take a while.


And the honda rust Its kind of a piss off but i am in school taking welding now so i should be able to fix this right befor it spreads anymore.

- Sat Oct 31, 2009 11:43 pm #154046 definately got some rust work ahead of you but it will all be worth it when a sweet car emerges next spring/summer....plus its definately a plus since they make sheet metal for that stuff....should go ahead and throw some ek skirts on there that way you wont have to drill twice unless you dont want them just a thought goodluck with the project

I was thinking of ek side skirts not an any hurry to find them lol i need to do some welding haha cuting all the rust out here very soon.

- Mon Nov 09, 2009 12:02 am #155476 well its been a week and i am still getting stuff done its just going to take a while started welding up holes in the bay , took dash and heater core out , started hiding things and extending wires. its a lot of work thats for sure . I also went to the junk yard and picked up some ek side skirts .here is some pics of my update.






still kinda confused about what wires to exstend but i will figure it out . and where to cut the hole for my engine harness to come threw the firewall cause i am keeping my heater and stuff.
