- Wed Jun 30, 2010 5:45 pm #202645 here is a little teaser. the base coat for my engine bay. just remember that my bay is gonna be phantom grey like the rest of the car....this is what color the additional bling will be :) im excited to get her finished now

with the flash on the color has a lil more orange than i wanted and with the flash off its wayy more brown. basically the pics dont capture the true color but thats ok. when you see whats going to be made out of it, the color variance doesnt really matter

I have a request... I need as many pictures of the belt tensioner/bracket/pulley system on the JRSC on your d series that you can take for me... up close far away all angles please I can't find pictures of it anywhere and I need to see how it works cause I can't find the brackets or the tensioners or anything for my supercharger so I'm gunna have to make one. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

no need to make one bud, 051-214 thats the item number for the bracket. call 888-888-4079 (toll free number) 805-681-3410 (local number) to order it. here is the link to all the components for the d16z6 supercharger system http://www.supercharger.com/graphics/BOMS/989-100.pdf . they are really good about getting you the items you need i had to call them a few times.

also here is the instructions for installing it (if you need it, pretty self explanitory) http://www.supercharger.com/graphics/pr ... 89-100.pdf

if that doesnt work and you end up having to make one let me know ill snap some pics for you.

yea they might not carry them but they will make it for you :D i needed a radiator hose and they didnt have it but they can make all the parts at there place. it works out nice for me cause the goleta base for jrsc is only 2hrs aways from me so wheni order stuff its on my porch the nextr day :D

anyways i figured i would spill my guts on the surpirse goin in the engine bay cause i just finished it and im excited and i got pics so what the heck ha.

some will like and some will hate but ohh will i think its ballin so :thumb:

what i did was almost a checker optical illusion look with louis vuitton 8)

so the car will go in for paint as pictured then after the phantom grey is laid down the decals will be removed and then the clear coat will be sprayed and wallaaaa my beautiful baller bay wll be ready for reassembly :hehe:

- Thu Jul 22, 2010 2:07 am #205697 havent posted on here in a while because we doint have internet at our house anymore :( but anywho i got the bay painted and clear coated. came out awesome well worth the time. tommtor i will post pics after the clear dries. its nice to know because now i can start puttin it together and drive my car !
