Civic Eg Hatch - Choppy - Poor boy build!

Well i suppose im going to need a build up thread to show the work i am doing to the car! So erm here i am...

Bought the car on the 22nd of June 2007.. (Yesterday xD)

Got it home and gave it a quick Wash...

As you can see the car needs a Wing and Bonnet. I bought the car like that...


Bought a set of these last night...

And bought a Replacement wing and Some Oem lip thing today..

Update June 25th.

Heres some pics of the wing and little splitter on :)
Also i forgot to put pics of the interior up so there here also. Black Wing yO! I could start a trend!

Ooh and the pics are taken at the other side of the yard where the HOUSE is, after the gypo comments xD

Got some sand paper, isapon and primer to start fixing the Rear quater, and get the car ready for spraying.

Sorry for the useless pics its extremely windy outside.

Ok! 2 updates in one day wooohoo!

Anyway before the pics i would like to introduce james to you lol

Anyway..

Picked this stuff up today.. Along with a tub of isapon

Started sanding down the 'Bad' Bits...

There was a dent in the rear quater, we pushed at it from the inside to straighten it as much as possible but we could only get it out so far.

So the isapon goes on to 'Heal' the panal.

Another update coming either tonight or tomorrow when the Isapon sets.

Well todays been a big and long day for my Eg.

Alot has been done!

Firstly in the morning we got down to buisness and skimmed a few more coats of isapon on the dent.

We then went all out and got all the minor dents and scratches sorted.

*Waiting for the 'Pon to dry i took some random pics :)*

The front plate holders had to come off because they are ugly as feck :blink:

As the bolts were seized we had to take the grinder to them :rolleyes:

Again in between times of isapon drying we decided to start doing other stuff.

Gave the rocker cover a Sand with some wet and dry then gave it a good thinners clean then some slight polishing.

After everything had been sanded down right it was time to mask the car up for Priming ;)

Got all that sorted then James with his random but l33t spray skills layed a few rough coats of primer down :D

The car came out like this... A few reactions here and there and some places that need a good bit more sanding but its coming together.

Btw pay no attention to the bonnet! New one coming soon :)

And this build is weird, weird the fact that its like exactly like mine lol! :lol: And theres an s13 sitting outside my garage too :lol: DIY ftw and i can't wait to see it finnished man keep it up!!! Loving the corners too how much did they skin ya ?!

Unfortunately, the rust will come back in about one year.
As soon as it begins to rust, even if it's just under the paint ('blisters'), because it's rotting from the inside out.
The only thing you can do about it is to weld in new wheelarches.
Looking good now tho ;)

JDMHONDAPARTS, or Racerbits, it took them a week?
I ordered a catback, two decats and two headers on a friday night, payd em, they mailed it monday and it was in Holland, at my place, on thursday morning...
They are sooo fast, unbelievable!
OK, FedEx priority airmail helps a lot as well :thumb:
