Bought the car this morning at 9am by 11.20 it had a spoon replica exhaust fitted, carbon simota induction kits and the spoiler painted black. i just need to sort the tatty body work out now drop it and find some decent alloys. The bonnet and boot will be black by early next week too once i have sorted the rust spots out.

The EG is only a 1.5 16v lsi but aparently it is a del sol or something as it has airconditioning.

but i think there was a ukdm car with air con i was looking at on ebay but the engine was too big for cheap insurance could have been the lsi :?

whyd you get the vti spoiler on ya EG painted black theyre surposed to be colour coded? or is it 2 b different? looks ight tho

- Sun Aug 26, 2007 9:31 pm #21206 i was planning on painting the boot and bonnet black but im not sure now, i paintd the spoiler before hand and im kinda wishing i didnt bother. Im not sure if to sort the holes and rust out and then get it resrayed or if to leave it as it is for a run about. Ideally i would love to spend some time on it and get it painted white or grey.

- Fri Sep 28, 2007 10:42 pm #24552 well i started on the EG today, its been sprayed olive green most will hate it but i wanted something different and i dont think anyone here in the uk would or has chosen it as a colour yet, we have also chosen some new rims which we are painting bronze tomorrow and were just about to flush the sides where the bump strips are as the rust is terrible, we have also got some wide arches nothing too wide though to spray and fit next week. Ill get some pics up tomorrow hopefully as we will finally finish the smoothing and do a final respray and flatting.
