The back history is well I did some work for a friend of mine on his civic coupe and got this si hatch. before i had it someone had a b18 ls turbo in it and treated it horribly wireing is cut everywhere but im slowly sorting it out......he had wrecked her by smashing into the rear end of a cadi of coarse but im almost done fixing it and placing another core support on it. but yea this will end up being my car while i work on my true love the CX.

I am planning a nice little 1.5l mini me since its the fastest way to get a motor in her. so here come the pictures so here ya go updates will prolly end up being soon.



Update-12-1-08 -new pics new stuff on the car hurray almost done and I also came across a cheap ex 5spd trans with a short shifter and linkage well pretty much a whole cheap 5spd setup but will only be using the trans since i got it for a buddy of mine who is now selling his auto car.....hurray for helping people out and getting stuff in return. So prolly my Z6 swap from my cx will be going into this car so i can work on the engine bay of the cx......enjoy

- Thu Oct 23, 2008 12:42 pm #75658 yepperz front and back as well as skunk 2 adjustable front upper control arms. im actually happy i said yes to this trade normally i want cash when i work on someones car but heck said yes because it was another hatch and now that im almost done fixing it im gonna be even more happy when i put in that motor and hear it come to life and move under its own power.....

- Sat Nov 08, 2008 5:25 pm #77801 Well heres the update I helped out a good friend today who needed a Z6 head badly so now I am Z6 headless and since i have the ZC for my other project I got a new direction now lol.....

Heres my plan

I am going to take a weekend or week since i dont really work all that much and drop the motor swap outa my Red CX and then place it into my Si when I am dont with the front end. which is pretty darn soon I also plan on taking some things form my cx and transfering them to my Si since im taking the CX off the road to be stripped anyways and brought back from the dead of rust.........

Any how so that is my plan take my Z6 motor and trans and place it into my Si so the si will pretty much be a stock Si with a cam gear and such like that.

So theres the new update pictures will be being updated by hopfully monday if it dont rain and if i can get my patio cleaned off for me to finish fixing this car completly.So until then im gonna be cleaning lol

- Mon Dec 01, 2008 7:29 pm #81322 Hurray unseasonably warm nice weather today so i thought id get a good chuck of work done on the Si today so i did lol....

-got the pside seat that was glued to the floor by ice (long story since dew kept getting inside the car.....) but yea ice was melted to out came that seat.

-Core support was welded on awhile ago by my friend with my welder i just didnt have the courage to do it since lol id prolly f it up somehow....got it primed n painted as well as teh core support brace.

-And last night i sanded the clearcoat off the used white fender as well as take the pin stripe off and the factory plastic lip peice.....and got most of that painted today as well so it will probaly hopfully if i dont run outa paint be a totally white car again and have pretty close matching panels

-And as of yet i havent sanded at all the bumper (black or the hood blue) definately doing the bumper tonight in my basement hoping for another good day so as to finish the cars body work for now....the hood depending if i have any paint left from spraying the bumper I am unsure if i will either spray the hood white or just put it in flat black primer but here are some more pictures and stuff so enjoy

P.S. promise if good weater tomarrow you will see a car with all the body panels on I hope











And once i finish the body work im going to have to update my day old sig lol

- Mon Dec 01, 2008 9:32 pm #81344 tell me about it i was having thoughts of trading it for a chevy s10 4x4 5spd lol once i laid the paint on it im like hell no's im keeping this car even if the car dose still have alot of work when im done its not really going to be as big of a project as most of the cars i own n drive daily

- Tue Dec 02, 2008 1:59 am #81411 yea im glad i did that as well....also on a side not i was offered a 1996 chevy s10 5spd 4x4 with the vortec engine i decided not to trade for that as well since once i get this thing done it really wont be a project car more like a work here or there car since its a really nice car though when i got it it was a diamond in the rough.....

But yea no more trades for me unless its for a cx hatch lol just because they are light and dont have abs and there is less there to go wrong with them but any how didnt really get anything else done today besides i sanded down the bumper getting that ready for tomarrows unseasonably nice day supposevly so who knows might finish the fender and bolt those onto the car tomarrow and get some more pics i did have the stock lights i bought for it for amazingly cheap 25$ for both and they came with well ricer signals but i said who cares and bought them anyways lol....So possibly more pics tomarrow and another update as well with pics hurray for progress

this was a aftermarket stock fender bought outa the yard was originally white but had a pin stripe n rusty as heck got the paint to match pretty darn closely however the shine isnt there even after 4 coats of clear ohhh well and also there is a nice gap too but ohhh well to that too idc its done! for now



front bumper in its 3rd coat of primer (I put about 6 or so on there because im not to sure if im gonna paint it just because the bumper isnt in that great of shape but who knows looks good like it is anyhow....





headlights are alil off because i just set them in place lol but damn it looks good now gonna use my yellow fogs on it i think that will look nicer on the white than the clear but yea its comming together now hurray

- Wed Dec 03, 2008 12:26 am #81612 yea it was alot of work to get up to this point but so far so good i havent tried tackleing the previous owners pos wireing on the interior though i guess he had a security system in there and ripped it out so ill see if i have to replace the whole thing since well yea even the ecu wires look like the previous owner hacked them up too.....and the carpet has a couple of stains imma try and get out soon gonna clean up the carpet and then install my del sol seats that i got for a great price....and thats really about it right now thats what im planning on doing tomarrow though i dont know if im gonna paint the bumper as i said i mean i have the time and if i do decide to im prolly gonna paint the hood too but most likely gonna just flat black the hood since in the summer ill prolly get a c/f one.....but tomarrow is another day and another step closer to finishing the si
