#87078 Alright guys. New to the site, just thought I'd put up some pictures and a write up of what's going on here. I Bought my EG5 for 100.

Sept 08 - Purchased my EG5 d16z6 Esi
It had been sitting in a barn for just over 3 years, few rust spots in the usual areas, Damage to front left side of bumper, Clutch had failed to release and Reverse Gear was damaged. Hence the 100 price.

Oct/Nov/Dec 08 -
Cut away rust holes patched with sheet metal, filler and sprayed.
Fixed Damage to front of bumper, smoothed old number plate holes and relocated number plate to sit over where the bumper was damaged.

Swapped 17" alloys that came on the car for some 15's with a guy down the road. (although these are only Temporary) until I can afford some Rota GT3's.

Jan 08 -
Recon Gearbox has arrived, so its time to take the engine out. Decided to take the whole engine out instead of just the box, while its out it'll be recieving a lick of paint to tidy it up a little. Good Weekends work, (but i was freezing my balls off, its around -1c here at the moment.

#87120 the rust was just infront of the rear wheels on both sides, about the size of an orange, spent some time on it to make sure it was all gone.

i had a 998 cooper. but the second time the engine blew i decided enough was enough.

What colour was it? I always wanted a proper Cooper in Racing Green.

I moved onto an EG from the Mini when I found out about the B16a2, that's how I got into Civic's :thumb:
The B16 powered Mini is insaine. You make me miss it now haha.
