Hey do you guys think that ARP head studs, and a cometic head gasket will be alright for the internals when i boost my d16? I'm only going to run 5 pounds.

ARP headstuds are a must for boosting. Use an OEM headgasket though, that will be good for your setup. :thumb:

Make sure you get the right studs. There's a difference between EG D series and EK D series sets.

Will do. Why would a OEM gasket be more reliable than a cometic one?

^if the ARP's are put in right, the block will blow long before that head lifts or blows the head gasket whether it's got a cometic or an OEM. so go OEM :thumb:

You and I know the difference in engine codes, but most retailers don't pay attention, or just list it as 'D16' headstuds with different part numbers from ARP. I know this from experience.
