B20 turbo ftw!

get yourself a K20 m8 and blow them turbos

Sure thing mate, heard there was a build K20 or K24 on eGay, only 3500 pounds or something...
Making 270hp n/a.

To bad the costs of getting it in your car (properly) are so damn high...

I was, but several people who know their 'thing or two' about turboed B-series adviced me to take a B16A2, and turbo it.
Way cheaper, and produces about the same amount of hp.

I don't know man, I know several people who ran or are running B18C4 turbo, and one of them went back to a B16A2, a few others want to go back to that engine as soon as their B18 blows up.
Not because it's a bad motor, but it's more expensive and doesn't gain as much hp as you want (not talking about high-class dragracers, just daily drivers).

Keep in mind that I'm not in the US.
A full swap to B16A2 (from a non-VTEC D series) will set you back in Holland for about 1750 to 2000 euro, and a B18C4 at least 3500 (if you're lucky) to 4000.
In euro's... so I'd pay 2700 dollar for a B16A2 or 5475 for a B18C4 (or 6800 for a B18C6 type-R), there is a lot you can do to a B16A2 for that money, letting the B18 eat the dust.

VIS racing carbon hood, second hand but only 2 months old (maybe even less).

Disclaimer on pics;
Car is dirty, needs some Meguiars-love, just like the hood, and the hood needs some attention to fit better (mounted it by myself in 10 minutes).

I want more power (B16 first, and boost later on) because this is getting pretty boring...
But my wheelarches (rear) are rusting, the car is three colors of red, etc etc, a paintjob is very much needed.

But it's expensive, so it won't be on a short notice, probably a few months.

I already arranged that a friend of mine will weld in new arches, so that'll cost me only a fist full of euro's.
Lets hope the rest of the body is good (under the sideskirts for example ).

And I'll have a little chat with another friend of mine, who's dad is the owner of a locally well known carpainter...
Maybe it will be a good and affordable repaint, usually 2 things that don't fit into one sentence
