it's been a good adventure, learned a lot but the thing was dare i say a "lemon" when i got it but the next big things are turbo and body/paint which i'm thinking about re-painting a different color like black or silver, any thoughts?

thanks man, it added a nice touch and was pretty cheap, now i don't need a volt meter per-say in the cabin cause i don't have room for it lol

i have a nice bondo spot i need to cover/repair/re-paint....



there was a big rust hole that i repaired, but now it needs paint, tried the touch up paint from honda but it seemed to be too light, like real purple and it would not spray out of a gun so i might try some dupli-color stuff

ha, well it would look kinda weird with purple door jambs and stuff, but it needs paint baaaaaaaad... but black coupes are dope!

true, but i got the car for free, and i just fixed it/modded it, so it's hard to justify buying a black coupe when i have this one might just re-paint it same color or a shade darker

I vote either paint it a dark ass purple or just paint it black and do the jams and bay urself flat black

seems like there is some threats towards this decision...
i would play it safe, and rock the purple coupe. i like it.

- Mon Jun 01, 2009 2:41 pm #119924 haha...this is true, there is some threats on my life if i decide to change it, but i just ordered my pistons and rods/bearings, etc. so i have some time to sleep on it... wanted to pull the motor, swap it in with out having to worry about f-ing up the paint.

a darker purple would be sweet but i don't want to start dabbling into the high tech/expensive paint...saving those expenses for what really counts

i'm going to try and take a boat load of pictures for my engine build so i will keep this posted in a few weeks my *backordered* pistons come....turbo here we come!

yeah, i was actually going to get some smoked ambers (messed up and got the black ones), the SI badge will be gone but the wheels will probably stay, i really like the 17's look and would hate to just be rotating wheels... i will definitely keep y'all posted tho, thanks for the advice

yeah! there is hope... i'm not the only other male driving a purple civic

i bought a bumper from a guy driving a purple civic today so not to worry, they're out there!
