#158275 I just looked through all 18 pages of your thread. Sexy as hell. I'm super impressed with the suspension setup, especially the picture where your RR tire is off the ground in the parking garage several pages back. BUT. Let's talk go fast parts. You're obviously running a B and a PWJDM Whale Penis and what looks like a DC header, but I can't really tell.

Here's my question for you:

What is your driveline setup? It sounds like a champ whatever it is.

EDIT:

Found it. Impressive, I must say. For your purposes, you would probably benefit from a good lightweight flywheel and high end clutch. I rock the Fidanza 7.5lb flywheel and 2.1 clutch (carbon/kevlar) and I do a little bit of back roads road racing with some friends every once in a while. I thoroughly enjoy the clutch/flywheel combo on my close to stock engine.

At any rate, I am fully impressed by your setup.

#158285 thanks man. im glade you like the set up i am running. i still have some more suspension pieces i need to put on. just been spending my money else where lol. im happy with the way my car performs handling whise right now...so i think thats why i have been holding off on some more suspension goodies lol

i want to eventually upgrade to a better clutch and a lighter lb fly wheel. my clutch does not in anyway seem like it wants to go anytime soon tho *knock on wood* lol. once it starts going out then i will most likely upgrade. just not sure on how light of a fly wheel i want to go...and i would love to go with a itr final drive as well for shorter gear ratios :thumb: the lsd tranny i have now is definatly a must. i have drove some of my freinds b swapped civics without a lsd tranny and i can notice a difference in handling right away lol

#158378 An LSD is a must, absolutely.

If I were you, I would stay away from the ACT flywheels. They tend to chatter more so than most others out there. Check the Spec 8lb flywheel. I drove a B16A3 delSol with one of those and an Exedy OEM clutch, and I loved it. Throttle response + civil clutch movement/engagement.

As far as the ITR final drive, you mean the 98+ Spec, right? The 4.785:1? Because as it stands, I'm reasonably certain (but could also be wrong) that the B16 tranny is identical in gearing to the 95-97 ITR tranny. Differences of course being the dual synchros and beefed up case in the ITR tranny.

Another question that was nagging at me: What do you do for a living that you can afford to live in Cali, and spend easily $5G on your ride over the course of a few years?

#158415 i haven't looked much into fly wheels but when the time comes i will do a little more research and see what i would like to run. thanks for you input :thumb:

yup i was speaking of the 98+ spec itr tranny with the 4.7 final drive. i drove a buddy of mine that has a 4.7 final drive in his ej1 on the mountain and i loved it

i have actually had my car since the begining of 03. started doing thing to it shortly after that but had no clue what i was doing at the time lol. since then it has just been trial and error and i have learned everything i know now on my own. i work for my moms real estate business selling pre manufactured homes and what not. sometimes business is good and sometimes its not and make hardly any money at all lol

but i actually added up all that i have spend on my car and eveything that is on it now has a total of $16,990 not including the price of the car lol

#158480 $16K is quite a bit. My full build was looking like $15K, but that was including a 250whp N/A LS/VTEC.

M-Factory has a really good gear set for the B-series trannys. High quality steel and such.

Keep doin' what you're doin' dude.
