#285079 Not only that but I think the lack of vac from the ITB's would make braking harder/less effect.

#285080 This is also true. I forgot that you are going to the ITB setup as well.

#285081 It has a large port that connects all the runners together, then they also have individual ports on each throttle as well. im sure people have done it in the past, but i dont want to.

#285615 Finally going to be putting some time in on her this weekend.

Buddy is coming by to degree the cams Saturday. My uncle finished boring the bushing holes out in the lcas. So the rear suspension will be going together.

Ordered my brake and fuel fittings and clutch line so I can get going on all that as well.

Pretty excited. Only waiting on a thermal IM gasket, id1000's, and s300...

#285691 after i paint the bay & get all to get the other stuff done. theres no rush to get it in and runnin, not trying to cut corners here.

#285704 Yea, I plan to. To get the motor in and running, I only need:

  • S300
  • Injectors
  • Tune
  • Cams degree'd
  • Fuel lines made
  • fuel pump

I technically have the first two, the cams will be degreed this weekend, I'm waiting on the fittings for the fuel lines... so I guess it all boils down to a fuel pump and a tune.

I'll be taking it to chuong @ revline to tune it. he's eager to tune a set of ITB's!

im still undecided on a pump. I was wanting to give the aeromotive 340 a try, but that was quickly shot down by chuong. so, I'll ill more than likely go w/the trusted walbro.

#285766 chuong hasnt tuned itbs yet  i would have thought he would have done that already.

#285793 No, not yet.

Found some interesting things...

Broken valve keeper... on #3 intake side. Its a good thing we were replacing the OEM pieces with Manley keeps, otherwise this would have gone unnoticed and couldnt have been detrimental!

Broken OEM piece!

replaced all 32 pieces w/Manley!!!

And... the head studs were installed without their washers. so, now I need to order washers.

Aside from that, we managed to check V2V, I believe I had .0046" (46 thousandths, decimal place may be incorrect).

We got the head put back on but my buddy had to leave so we didnt finish degreeing the stuff.

Got a dinner date with my wife and her friends so, we're done for now. After dinner/movie I may come home and get the rear suspension done...

Mama wants her garage space, so I got do that before I can shuffle the car around.
