I'm done with the car today. It's to hot out to be doing this alone. FML.

I might get some more done tomorrow. Progress may not be as fast as I'm going to have to take my time with the front doors. :(

I live up north, around Rockwell. Not far from hefner.

Okay, so i'm taking apart the driver (my passenger) door, and i'm trying to jump the connector, but i cant figure out which pins are for the window. I got the speaker to work for a second lol.

#200191 So upon removing the USDM door harness i noticed all clips are the same except the one that goes directly into the regulator. So i decided to pull the window and regulator and will put that into the JDM door and harness.

There probably is an easier way to do this. lol

#200218 Yeah diagrams look like spaghetti when you first start out. You'll be an expert by the time you're done. First, tell me what you are trying to do - then I can help you. I have the RHD wiring diagrams if you're interested.

Both the electrical connections on the d/s and p/s window regulator/actuator and the power lock actuators will be different USDM vs. JDM. If re-using your USDM harness then you will also want to disassemble the JDM harness for the power folding mirror wires. For the door lock actuator, you don't need to remove the whole thing - just swap out the piece at the end of the connector... there's 3 or 4 tiny screws. And yeah - you need to swap in your USDM window actuators to the JDM doors. Actually - have you thought about why you're even installing the JDM doors? They are actually less safe than USDM - they are missing an impact safety beam or two. You could just swap the bronze glass.

The reason behind the door itself is my USDM doors have some rust beginning on the lower part of the door from water leaking down...and there is damage on the doors.

The impact beams are in the doors. I saw that earlier today. I've heard that before, and thought it to be true. The JDM driver door has the impact beam, so then i checked the USDM driver door (passenger JDM door) and it also had the beam. Not sure about the rear doors as i didn't look, but i took a pic of it earlier today.

I have already swapped over the harness and the actuators today, and i already pulled the entire lock mechanism from the USDM door :(.

The glass isn't back in the door yet, but mostly everything else is so far.

The impact beam.

I'm done today. Never took doors apart before, so this was a whole new experience lol.

I just need to screw back on the handle, and put the lock back in, bolt everything down, put the window back in, and the doors done.

Maybe i'll work on it tomorrow. lol

#200234 Btw deschlong, i wouldn't mind any RHD material you may have. I've found a few diagrams for the power mirrors, but whatever else you have would be awesome! :)
